Hangin' with the Pack

We headed out to a food drive for the New Berlin Food Pantry sponsored by the Nick Collins foundation yeterday... what a surprise we were in for!

It was smooth and efficient and barely any waiting.

We pulled in to drop off our bag.... and we were greeted by NICK BARNETT!!!!!    He was very nice, and we asked if we could take a pic with him.... he was ready to crawl in the van to take a pic with the girls.  But we decided to get the girls out and pose outside the van.  Jen Lata from Fox 6 News grabbed our camera and started snapping away!  Cool!

We then headed over to the autograph tent.  Madeline proceeded to "give bumps and blow it up" with Jarret Bush, Nick Collins, Brandon Chillar, Ryan Grant and Sam Shields.  All were very nice and great with the girls.  Unfortunately, we weren't allowed pics during autographs.

All in all... a great Tuesday afternoon at the Koshuta house!

Super Saturday

We had quite the eventful Saturday at the Koshuta household.

The girls started out the morning with swim lessons at the club.  Madeline has so much progress! Believe it or not, she can now get her eyes wet:)  She loves the water and her intructors.

We were then joined by our friend Mike, and his beautiful little girls Avery and Ayla.  The girls just love hanging with their girlfriends.  What's a get together without some yumm food, princess dress up time and a dance party to Taylor Swift?!?!?! Fun times!

Ayla, Lydia, Avery and Madeline
Then off to an Irish Bar in Milwaukee to see Uncle Tom (and aunt Suzie) play the bagpipes. Yes, we took our girls to a bar. Had to change Lydia while there, and can you believe they didn't even have a baby changing station (IN A BAR BATHROOM?!?!) That's ridiculous!!!! (There is quite a bit of sarcasm in the prior statements - in case you couldn't tell.)

Eatin' with Aunt Suzie and Uncle Tom

We went to the annual Fire/Police pipes and drums chili cook off. Had a great time and enjoyed nice conversation and company, fantastic chili... MADELINE ATE 4 BOWLS... and a Black and Tan at 4pm in the afternoon!!!! Yum yum! The girls loved listening/dancing to the music and running around with the other kids that were there.
Lydia was quite fond of Aunt Suzie
Man.... these girls sure ate up the chili.... They sure got their money's worh
(Children 10 and under were free:))
And lastly, home to make peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip bars. I love to cook, hate to bake... and usually mess up the baking part, but they turned out quite well.

Happy Times!!!!!!!!!!!
